NEW OMAL MULTICOUNT™ BRINGS CONNECTIVITY TO CASH COUNTING
Cash management specialist Volumatic Omal has launched a new version of its popular Omal MultiCount™ cash counter. The new model has advanced data transfer features, with a new USB connection and unique integrated SmartWedge™, as well as additional counting capabilities. A version for connection via an Ethernet network is also available.
Designed to count and store data for up to fifty till counts, the new RoHS*-compliant MultiCount™ enables accurate and fast counting of loose and packed coins and notes, as well as coupons and tokens. It also accepts keyed entries allowing you to reconcile non-cash amounts such as credit and debit slips and cheques. It can show and print a full cheque listing.
The Omal MultiCount™ can be used as a stand-alone or linked product. It can be fully integrated into an existing count and reconciliation system, replacing the need for costly and labour-intensive manual cash counting. It increases efficiency and reduces the risk of inaccuracy due to human error.
When connected directly to the Omal Mini Thermal Printer™ the MultiCount™ will print a paper record of count results. The new integrated SmartWedge™ allows direct input via USB connection to Windows PC programs such as Excel, with user configurable settings to select alternative data transfer formats.
Lightweight and portable, the product weighs only 1.5kg and has a footprint of 242mm x 147mm. Calculator-style raised keys and a 2 x 24 character 2-line display make the device easy to use. The replaceable rechargeable NiMH battery pack allows operation where mains power is unavailable.
