Volumatic’s latest Omal CounterCache® range provides secure storage of notes at the point of sale, where protection of revenue and staff is paramount.  All units in the range have a double locking mechanism to deter would-be thieves, and the more advanced units have a tamper-proof seal on the internal cash storage device.

The CounterCache® Basic is a simple drop box option where notes are deposited directly into the unit through a vertical slot and compressed to assist counting.  Between one and six items can be deposited at a time, and the unit has a capacity of 600 currency-sized notes.  It uses a simple flat key system whereby one key opens the unit and another removes it from its mounting channel. 

The Compact CounterCache® is a more advanced option which features an inner cassette that can store up to 350 currency-sized pieces of paper.  It has a horizontal slot to optimise note presentation and works on a dual key principle, meaning that the door can only be opened with a key to the unit and the internal receptacle can only be accessed and removed using a keyplate, which slides into the roof to form a sealed box.  It can accept between one and twenty items at a time.

The counter has a one year warranty and is pre-programmed with 18 languages and 3 currencies:  sterling, euros or US dollars.
