See Diagnostic Power of Volk Lenses at SECO

H-R Wide Field Lens delivers detailed pan retinal views
Mentor, Ohio (February 5, 2009) – Volk Optical, the industry leader in aspheric optics, will be exhibiting at the Southern Educational Congress of Optometry, March 4 through 8 at the Georgia World Conference Center in Atlanta, Ga.

HR Wide Seco

For maximum diagnostic power, Volk’s H-R Wide Field provides a pan retinal view not possible with a non-contact slit lamp or BIO lens, as well as a clear view of the entire retina not possible with a mirrored lens.  Distortion-free across the entire viewing area, the lens’ extremely wide field capability provides highly detailed views.

While the contact lens requires the added step of a coupling solution to examinations, it ensures clear visualization of retinal tears or lesions across the entire retinal surface, all the way to the ora serrata.  No non-contact lens exam method is able to achieve this level of image clarity and detail.

Volk’s exhibit at booth 1036 will feature its entire line of diagnostic ophthalmic lenses, equipment, and accessories.  In addition to hands-on demonstrations, show visitors can take advantage of special show incentive pricing and take products home with them with lenses available for purchase.
