Volk Optiflex Featured at Hawaiian Eye
In booth demonstrations and workshop presentation on new lens positioning system
Mentor, Ohio (December 16, 2008) – Volk Optical, the industry leader in aspheric optics, is exhibiting at Hawaiian Eye show, January 18-23, 2009 at the Grand Wailea Resort in Maui, Hawaii. Volk’s booth, 203, will feature its entire line of diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical ophthalmic lenses and equipment, including the new Optiflex® Surgical Assistant and H-R Wide Field Laser Lens.
Volk’s Optiflex® Surgical Assistant is the first lens positioning system for non-contact surgical lenses. Compatible with all leading surgical microscopes, the Optiflex facilitates precise lens positioning adjustments and fine focus control. Available in both powered and manual versions, the system provides the highest resolution imaging of any non-contact surgical viewing system for vitreo-retinal surgical procedures. The Optiflex will be featured as part of the show’s “Technology and Equipment Round-Up” workshop on Thursday, January 22.
For pan retinal examination and PRP laser treatment, the company’s latest lens, the H-R Wide Field Laser Lens delivers the highest resolution, widest field of view of any lens, improving on the image quality of the Rodenstock pan funduscope lens.
