Volk Optical Lenses Increase Diagnostic Capability and Decrease Exam Time at AOA
Digital Series and H-R Wide Field increase efficiency of diagnostic work
Mentor, Ohio (June 6, 2008) – Volk Optical, the industry leader in aspheric optics, will be exhibiting at the AOA Congress Optometry’s Meeting, June 25 through 29 at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center in Seattle, Wash.

Volk’s Digital Series includes lenses for both slit lamp and BIO use, delivering the highest resolution non-contact imaging views available. For slit lamp exams, the line includes the Digital High Mag® with true 3D views of the retina and disc; the Digital Wide Field® with the widest, high resolution field of view imaging past the vortex; and the Digital 1.0x with a 1 to 1 magnification ratio for easy measurement of the optic disc. The line’s Digital ClearField and Digital ClearMag lenses deliver an image quality previously unattainable during a BIO exam, increasing diagnostic capability and decreasing exam times.
For even more diagnostic power, the H-R Wide Field provides a pan retinal view not possible with a non-contact slit lamp or BIO lens, as well as a clear view of the entire retina not possible with a mirrored lens. Distortion-free across the entire viewing area, the lens’ extremely wide field capability provides highly detailed views.
Volk’s exhibit at booth 213 will feature its entire line of diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical ophthalmic lenses, equipment, and accessories. In addition to hands-on demonstrations, show visitors can take advantage of special show incentive pricing and take products home with them with lenses available for purchase.
For more information on these and other Volk lenses and equipment visit the company’s booth at the AOA Congress.
