New Regional Manager for Volk Optical
Scott Swartwout has joined Volk Optical, the industry leader in aspheric optics, as Regional Account Manager, Central/Western United States.
Within his assigned territory Swartwout will be responsible for providing sales and customer service support for Volk’s complete line of diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical ophthalmic lenses, equipment, and accessories. He will work with end users and distributors as well as optometric and ophthalmic education programs in the selection and use of Volk products. The Central/Western territory includes: Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming, and extends into the Canadian provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
Swartwout brings more than 15 years experience in optical products sales to his new position. Most recently, he was with Vistakon Pharmaceuticals (Jacksonville, Fla.), working specifically with ophthalmic topical agents as a Senior Medical Sales Specialist. His career also includes sales positions with spectacle lens system manufacturer Loh Optical Machinery (Germantown, Wis.) and ophthalmic spectacle products company Signet Armorlite (San Marcos, Calif.), as well as a retail management position with Eye Care One Corp. (Milwaukee, Wis.). Swartwout is a graduate of University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
