2008 catalog features new 2D and field of view comparisons
Mentor, Ohio (December 19, 2007) – Volk Optical, the industry leader in aspheric optics, has released its 2008 ophthalmic lens and accessory catalog.
New to the 2008 catalog are simulated 2D interior eye side views and images showing the field of view in relation to the entire retina. These images allow for virtual comparisons of lens performance to aid in selection. Detailed descriptions of image magnification, working distance and applications are provided with full color photos for each product.
The catalog covers the entire Volk product range from BIO, slit lamp, indirect and direct contact diagnostic laser, gonio, and other surgical lenses and accessories to the new OptiFlex™ Surgical Assistant. The electro-mechanical OptiFlex provides the greatest fine focus capability for clear, crisp views, while streamlining surgery and freeing up assistant help.
