Reaching for the Peak – May update

Onto this month and training has been going well for Chris and his 3 Peaks Challenge partner:

“We did Scafell at the beginning of May which is one of the 3 peaks.  It took us just under four hours to complete and was completely exhausting. I’m not entirely convinced I could have done another two that day, but hopefully by July I will be more prepared. It was great to get one under our belts!” (Chris Pears).

Can you help?

“As a team, we have set ourselves the target of raising £3,000. To achieve this we are looking for personal sponsors and companies to sponsor our flag. We have already collected money at Killington services over the bank holiday weekend which we raised £400 and we have also organised a charity 5aside football tournament for 19 June.  Fellow Tritech employees are entering teams, pledging £50 per team.  Hopefully the weather will stay fine!”

More from Chris:

“On Sunday 16 May, myself, James and my Dad took on the Great Manchester 10K Run. My Dad has managed to raise approximately £1,200 but for myself and James it was merely a way to build fitness for our upcoming 3 Peaks Challenge. Our target was to complete the race within 1 hour and I’m pleased to say we all managed to finish in 55min 53secs. “
