Tritech International Global Distribution and Customer Support Network
Tritech International has just held its first major Distributor Week. Members of the Global Distributor Network came to Aberdeen to work on future strategies, share ideas and work together on developing a better understanding of Tritech’s advanced range of subsea products.
Eight countries sent delegates, America, Russia, Germany, Canada, Italy, Singapore, India and last but not least England.
With the principal focus on high performance sonars, video cameras and mechanical tooling, the workshops gave the Distributors a chance to gain first-hand, working knowledge of Tritech’s wide range of professional underwater equipment.
Sonar Research and Development (SRD) who are the multi-beam sonar specialists in the Tritech Group, were also present with the new Eclipse Sonar. They provided a unique opportunity for the Distributors to operate and understand the features of some of the offshore industries most advanced survey sonars.
Tritech distributor, Carlo Vassale of Telesub Lanterna in Italy states:
“We were given the chance to work together in groups in order to analyze data coming from practical trials and applications and this was really interesting because we got to compare the different opinions we had.”
“Moreover, we were taught how to improve our marketing skills and strategies in order to expand our market.”

Tritech supports its Distributors through its marketing knowledge and resource. The Distributors were given information on how they can encourage growth and business development through Tritech’s marketing support network.
During week long visit the delegates were also able to enjoy a taste of Scotland. They embarked on a Grampian Safari, experiencing dramatic views of the countryside, spotting salmon jumping upstream and visiting local castles and stone circles. Of course no visit to Scotland is complete without a wee dram!
