New PixelSensor OEM Electronics Board from PIXELTEQ Unveiled at SPIE Optics and Photonics

Largo, Fla. (August 7, 2015) – PIXELTEQ will display its PixelSensor spectral sensor with new OEM electronics board at SPIE Optics + Photonics exhibition, booth 641. The show takes place August 11-13 at the San Diego Convention Center (San Diego, Calif.).

PixelSensor

PixelSensor

PixelSensor, now partnered with a new OEM electronics board, is designed for easy integration into customers’ analytical equipment and provides a smaller footprint (45.72mm x 21.34mm) and faster time-to-market. This offers a cost-effective alternative to traditional sensor technology. The parallel channel design results in no moving parts and faster measurements than discrete optic designs and spectrometers. PixelSensor provides spectral sensing in an integrated package design that includes up to eight photodiodes with optical filters. The number of channels, package type and filter characteristics may all be customized to fit customers’ specific application needs. PixelSensor with new OEM electronics board is ideally suited for in vitro diagnostic instruments, biochemical assays, imaging and colorimetry applications.

PIXELTEQ Displays Spectral Cameras and Sensors at Laser Munich 2015

Largo, Fla. (June 16, 2015) – OEM multispectral technology expert PIXELTEQ will display a new addition to its PixelCam™ and SpectroCam™ line of spectral cameras at the 2015 Laser World of Photonics exhibition, booth 477 in hall B2. The show takes place from June 22-25 at the Messe München center (Munich, Germany).

New VIS and SWIR Spectral Cameras at DSS 2015

Visitors to the company’s booth can view live demonstrations of the PixelCam spectral cameras and the PixelSensor 8-channel spectral sensors performing multispectral imaging of application-specific visible, NIR and SWIR spectral bands. Visitors can learn how multispectral sensing and imaging can be easily integrated in various OEM applications, saving space, time and cost.

The demonstrations will include the new PixelCam 4-channel RGB+ NIR camera, which allows users to retrieve both color and NIR (near infrared) images simultaneously.

PixelCam cameras use PIXELTEQ’s unique pixelated dichroic filters arrays to deliver real-time multispectral imaging with the same SWaP as comparable monochrome or color imagers. The newly added RGB+NIR camera is ideal for biomedical ICG imaging, agricultural UAV crop stress testing and a variety of other applications.
