Broken Arrow, Okla. (January 5, 2012) – Oseco’s newly redesigned website helps both new and experienced users of rupture discs and explosion vents select the right products for their needs. The new website, www.oseco.com, is the first designed by a rupture disc manufacturer to allow visitors to find a product based on their industry and application, and request a quote in the same visit.

The new website organizes Oseco’s full range of rupture discs and explosion vents into industry and application groups. Visitors can select their industry or application, and see a list of recommended products. In instances where there are many options, the site will narrow the selection based on additional visitor criteria. The new site also includes a section to highlight Oseco’s custom engineered pressure relief devices.

Visitors can schedule a lunch & learn for on-site rupture disc and explosion vent training, or request a quote with 24 hour response time (or by Monday afternoon for weekend submissions).

Company to announce change to vent stocking program at booth 485

Broken Arrow, Okla. (May 20, 2011) – Delivering protection against dangerous over-pressurization in industrial processes, Oseco will feature its line of explosion vents at the National Fire Protection Association’s 2011 Conference and Expo.  The show will take place from June 12-14 at the Boston Convention Center in Boston, Mass.  Customers can learn more about Oseco’s explosion vents, and get information on dramatic changes to Oseco’s explosion vent stocking program at the company’s booth 485.

Vents help food processing and agricultural facilities remain OSHA and NFPA compliant

(May 13, 2010) – Leading pressure relief manufacturer Oseco will feature its full line of explosion vents at the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 2010 Conference and Expo, June 7-10 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nev.  Oseco’s explosion vents, including the new GLV-F, will be available for hands-on demonstration at the company’s booth, #1658.

The GLV-F explosion vent mounts where dust builds in conveyors and grain elevators.  Should a deflagration occur, the vent opens up and releases pressure to minimize damage.  An optional sensor is available, which detects when an explosion occurs and either shuts the system down or sounds an alarm to notify personnel.  The GLV-F has a built-in outlet frame and gasket to ease installation, eliminating the need to fabricate an angle iron hold down frame.  The product meets NFPA 61 standards for the prevention of explosions in agricultural and food processing facilities.

Oseco’s full line of explosion vents meets OSHA and NFPA 68 standards for venting explosions and deflagrations.  Explosion vents are an accepted method of compliance with inspection guidelines outlined by the OSHA Combustible Dust National Emphasis Program.
