Labsphere Co-Sponsors Light Measurement Seminar
Light Measurement and the Application of Integrating Spheres and CCD Spectrometers
North Sutton, New Hampshire (September 20, 2007) – Labsphere, Inc a world leader in light metrology, spectroscopy and reflective materials is pleased to announce that it is co-sponsoring a Light Measurement seminar in cooperation with its Halma sister company Ocean Optics, and its valued sales partner, Pro-Lite Technology.
To be held on November 1, 2007 at the Photonics Cluster in Birmingham, England the seminar is intended for scientists and engineers working in the field of light source measurements and testing of the optical properties of materials. The seminar will also be of interest to those involved with calibrating remote sensing systems, or evaluating the performance of electronic imaging equipment and detector arrays such as CCDs and CMOS sensors. The all-day event includes both presentations and practical demonstrations from industry experts.
The seminar, administered by the Photonics Cluster (UK) and Aston Science Park, requires pre-registration. To obtain a registration form or for further information, please e-mail Tahreen Kutub of Aston Science Park at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Pro-Lite serves as a distributor for manufacturers of equipment used in light measurement and for testing the optical properties of materials, including Labsphere and Ocean Optics. Labsphere and Ocean Optics are both companies within the Photonics Division of Halma plc, a UK-based multinational corporation with leading technologies and products which generate, measure and condition light and analyze the interaction of light with substances.
