Toronto, ON (December 14, 2011) – Water monitoring technology specialist Hydreka is currently seeking distributors in the United States for its line of electromagnetic insertion probes. Hydreka’s HydrINS 2® and HydrINS 2 Mini® measure bi-directional flow rates at reservoirs, waterworks, pumping stations, water pipes and DMA zones.

Hydreka is seeking US distributors for the HydrINS2 and HydrINS2 Mini flow meters.

HydrINS 2 can be used as a portable meter, or easily installed as a dedicated instrument. The unit exports information directly to datalogging devices, and is also available with an optional LCD display for viewing readings. HydrINS 2 Mini is designed from the original HydrINS 2, and features a reduced sensor diameter for increased measurement efficiency on pipe sizes from 300 to 80 mm with low velocities (+/ – 2% at 2 cm/s).

Both products use Hydreka’s Winfluid software (PC or PDA compatible) for programming, data retrieval and processing. In the event of flow disturbances, Winfluid’s velocity profiling tool calculates the real profile factor of the flow.

Wide variety of flowmeters and data loggers available without capital investment

Toronto, ON (June 15, 2011) – Delivering on-demand use of its flow measurement devices, backed by highly experienced technical support, Hydreka has launched its instrumentation rental service.  The new service will be located in Toronto (ON, Canada) and managed with partner ACG Technology Ltd (Woodbridge, ON).

After running a similar program in France for 20 years, Hydreka offers the new service to allow consulting companies and municipalities in North America access to an inventory of products for water loss management and auditing, pressure management projects and sanitary networks flow monitoring.  Hydreka’s instruments help to identify losses in a water distribution network when they are small, so that maintenance can be conducted before the leak grows.  The new rental service allows municipalities the chance to use the equipment without any capital investment, and see if it is right for their needs.

The rental service includes Hydreka’s insertion magmeters, transit time and A/V flowmeters, and flow, pressure and level dataloggers.  All products are inspected prior to shipment to ensure reliable performance, and backed with Hydreka’s technical support.
