New Diba 6-40 Click-N-Seal Micro™ Fitting for Small Fluid Connections at Pittcon

Danbury, Conn. (February 24, 2014) – Diba will feature its new 6-40 Click-N-Seal Micro™ fitting in the company’s booth #2009 at the 2014 Pittcon Conference and Exposition. The show will take place from March 3-6 at the McCormick Place Convention Center (Chicago, Ill.).

The new Click-N-Seal Micro is designed for diagnostic, analytical and medical applications requiring smaller fluid connections. It easily connects a 1/16” tube into 6-40 threaded ports using Diba’s patented Click-N-Seal® torque limiting technology to eliminate under- or over-tightening and ensure a proper seal. Ferrule options are available for both conical and flat bottom ports. Flared tube and fittings are also offered for flat bottomed ports.

Visitors to the Diba booth can also view demonstrations of the company’s standard lines of precision probes and tubing assemblies, designed to help OEMs and engineers expedite the design phase of projects. Also on display are the company’s heaters, custom bottle caps and Omnifit chromatography columns.

Diba Taps New VP of Sales and Marketing, Scott Brown

Danbury, CT (August 2, 2012) – Diba Industries has named Scott Brown its new Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

In his new position, Brown will foster Diba’s growth in custom engineered fluid handling components and services. He will manage the company’s global sales and marketing teams, overseeing key IVD, medical and scientific equipment accounts.

Brown’s prior work experience includes a variety of global sales and marketing positions, primarily in the industrial electronics market. He was most recently the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for gas conditioning product manufacturer Perma Pure, a Halma company, where he helped achieve record profits and sales. Brown holds a degree from Yale University (New Haven, Conn.).

Diba Appoints New VP of Operations, Mick Pearson

Danbury, CT (June 28, 2012) – Fluidics expert Diba has promoted Mick Pearson to Vice President of Operations at its US headquarters.

In his new position as a member of Diba’s executive committee, Pearson will be responsible for consistent sales and profit growth by overseeing manufacturing of Diba’s probes, sensors, assemblies, tubing and labware for fluid handling applications. He will lead all related operations in continuous improvement including materials and inventory management, production quality and facilities management.

Before his promotion, Pearson was General Manager of Diba’s fluid handling component manufacturing location in Cambridge, UK. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Studies from Bolton Business School (Bolton, UK).

Diba Industries’ Fluid Sampling Probes at AACC 2012

Danbury, CT (June 21, 2012) – Diba Industries will display its probes for IVD, scientific analysis and medical applications at the AACC Clinical Lab Expo, booth 2723. The show takes place at the Los Angeles Convention Center (Los Angeles, Calif.) from July 17-19.

Diba’s booth will feature various probes from its Diba Custom line, and information on Diba’s extensive design and fabrication technologies. Diba’s custom precision probes are designed according to customers’ specifications, and have optional level sensing and fluid heating capabilities. Probes are available in stainless steel and alloys with non metallic tubing, and can include custom points, venting, FEP lining and specialty finishes.

Visitors can also see product demonstrations of solvent bottle caps and fittings, and tubing and connection systems from Diba’s Omnifit Labware and Dibafit lines.

Diba’s New Cleanroom Ensures Sterile Fluid Handling Components

Danbury, CT (October 4, 2011) – Diba’s new class 10,000 cleanroom ensures that customers whose products are highly sensitive to environmental contaminations will receive components that meet or exceed their cleanliness requirements and expectations.

The new cleanroom is a hard wall 20’ x 30’ ISO 7 single pass cleanroom with dual 36” pass-thru ports and a gowning room. The facility provides a contaminant-free manufacturing environment for the company’s probes, fluid heaters and custom fluidic assemblies. Air inside the cleanroom is filtered using high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) and ultra-low particulate air (ULPA) filters to remove internally generated contaminants. Additionally, workers wear protective clothing such as gowns, caps, booties and gloves to further maintain product cleanliness.

Diba Names Ken Goswamy West Coast Sales Manager

Danbury, CT (October 7, 2010) – Continuing to improve customer service and find new applications for its fluid handling components, Diba Industries has appointed Ken Goswamy its new West Coast Sales Manager.

Goswamy will be based out of Tracy, California, providing support for new and existing customers in California, Washington, Oregon and Nevada.  He will also be responsible for identifying new opportunities for the company’s tubing assemblies, probes and system fluidics kits.

Goswamy brings 15 years of sales experience to Diba.  His experience includes work for PC technology manufacturers Contec Microelectronics (Sunnyvale, CA) and ASA Computers (Mountain View, CA).  Goswamy holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Industrial Engineering from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (Pantnagar, India).
