Electric Rotary Valves RV-Series Easily Integrate into OEM Systems

Bio-Chem Fluidics’ valves offer lower pressure drop than conventional mixing valves

Boonton, NJ (July 11, 2011) – Delivering unobstructed, inert fluid paths with high flow rates and low dead volumes, Bio-Chem Fluidics offers the RV-Series of Electric Rotary Valves.  The series features three different models for easy integration into OEM systems.

Designed for applications such as sample collection, loop injection or flow path selection, the series of valves provides a lower pressure drop than conventional solenoid mixing valves.  Each model’s ¼”- 28 UNF fluid port connections and flow configurations were designed to match the industry standard most commonly found in existing systems. All valves use a unique PTFE fluid path for maximum compatibility with aggressive solvents.

The RV-Series includes three different models to match customers’ needs.  The most basic model, the RV-E, includes only the valve head assembly for use with a system’s preexisting stepper motors.  The RV-SN includes its own two-phase, hybrid stepper motor, and the RV-SC features the same stepper motor with an intelligent motor controller and driver.

Fluid Handling Solutions from Bio-Chem Fluidics at AACC 2011

Boonton, NJ (June 30, 2011) – Bio-Chem Fluidics will feature its electric rotary and solenoid pinch valves for OEM engineers at the American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC) Clinical Laboratory Expo, booth 1211.  The show takes place at the Georgia World Congress Center (Atlanta, Ga.), from July 24-28.

Bio-Chem Fluidics’ electric rotary valves provide inert fluid paths for sample collection, loop injection or flow path selection applications.  The valves’ precision machining eliminates flow path restrictions and provides a lower pressure drop than conventional solenoid mixing valves.

The company’s solenoid operated pinch valves feature smooth contours that guide tubing into the pinch points and eliminate snags and snares.  Pinch valves are constructed from chemically resistant materials and available in 2-way normally open, 2-way normally closed, 3-way and dual tube configurations.

Bio-Chem Fluidics will also display its full line of solenoid operated micropumps, and isolation and flow selection valves at booth 1211.

Electric Rotary Valves and Isolation Valves from Bio-Chem Fluidics at Pittcon

Company celebrates 25th anniversary with new product launch and reception

Boonton, NJ (January 26, 2011) – Bio-Chem Fluidics celebrates 25 years of operation at the Pittcon 2011 Conference and Expo.  The company will feature its new line of Electric Rotary Valves and Solenoid Isolation Valves, at booth 3027.  The show will take place from March 14-17 at Georgia World Congress Center (Atlanta, Ga.).

Bio-Chem Fluidics’ new line of Electric Rotary Valves provides inert fluid paths for sample collection, loop injection or flow path selection applications.  The valves’ precision machining eliminates flow path restrictions and provides a lower pressure drop than conventional solenoid mixing valves.  The new line of valves is designed for OEM customers, with standard configurations matching the most commonly found applications. The valves’ ¼”- 28 UNF fluid port connections allow easy integration into the most sophisticated systems.

Solenoid Isolation Valves feature highly inert fluid paths for use with aggressive chemicals.  The valves’ working parts are isolated from the corrosive fluid path with a flexible diaphragm, allowing longer operation.  Valves are available in a wide range of standard configurations optimized for OEM systems or customized to fit the exact application.  Standard valves achieve pressure ratings up to 30 psi while custom versions have been produced to withstand pressures up to 500 psi.

Pittcon 2011 marks Bio-Chem Fluidics’ 25th anniversary of its first custom, inert solenoid valve for analytical chemistry instrumentation.  The company will host a reception at the show to celebrate the occasion.
